Auditions for the artistes segment of the 2016 Cadence Lypso Show were held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the Roseau Branch of the National Cooperative Credit Union Ltd.

Ten finalists were selected to compete in the grand show on Wednesday November 2, 2016 at the Pottersville Savannah. The top 10 and the names of their songs are listed below in no particular order.

The ten finalists will compete against the 2015 Monarch for the title of Cadence Monarch 2016 and a grand prize of $10,000 of cash and prizes. $5000 and $3000 in cash and prizes will be awarded to the second and third place winners. The other finalists will each  receive $1500. 

 During the band segment of the Show, five bands will compete for the title of Cadence Band Champ 2016 and a $10,000 grand prize.

The second and third place winnners will receive prizes of $5,000 and $3,000 and the other bands receive $2500 each.
