Staff of the Castle Bruce Branch recently participated in hands-on training in use  of a Fire Extinguisher. For some it was a refresher, for others it was the first time.

The session was conducted by Fire Officer Wayne Letang and covered 

•         care of the extinguisher
•         signs  the extinguisher needs refilling.
•       how to hold/position  the Extinguisher to put out a fire, using the PASS method (Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Sweep) in as little 3 seconds.

     The staff took turns using the PASS method to put out small fires.
