THE NEW MEGA-CREDIT UNION

As of November 1st 2010 the Roseau, La Salette, St. Paul, Vieille Case and St. David Credit Unions will be 'one entity" known as the National Co-operative Credit Union Ltd. (NCCU).

According to the news article in the Sun Newspaper dated October 25th 2010, Mr. Dexter Ducreay, the first president of the new mega-credit union announces that "The new NCCU will consist of five branches, enjoy a share capital of $2.4 million, members equity of $33.5 million, an asset base of $320 million and a membership of 35,708".

Additionally, this merger will help the movement withstand increasing competition in the financial sector, and help the unions benefit from higher penetration of services.

The approach is that everyone comes together as "one big family".

The new NCCU president of the Board of Director would like to thank you for your support over the past years as the National Co-operative Credit Union Limited (NCCU) moves forward.
