On October 19th Cletus Joseph “Halibut” Abraham was crowned 2013 NCCU Cadence Lypso King.
"Halbut" competed against 19 other finalists to win the coveted crown with his performance of “De Long Tongue".
In second place was Shirley “Lady S” Charles who sang “Let Me Love You,” and Webster “Webb” Marie earned the third place with his song “Bef.”

When the cowbell “tokes” on October 19, 2013, Cadence Lypso lovers will again be treated to an exciting range of cadence voices and music from veterans and rising stars.

The show will also feature the KINGS of Cadence, Midnight Groovers.
The finalists were announced on October 1, 2013, at a ceremony held at the Old Mill Cultural Centre to officially launch the 2013 Cadence Lypso Show.
NCCU Cadence Lypso Inc, is partnering with Kubuli, DBS, Marpin, SAT, Dominica Newsonline, Kairi FM, Millennium Freight, New India Assurance/ACS, Fort Young Hotel and First Domestic to present the Show.
