Speaking at the ceremony, Nathaniel George, Commercial Manager of DOMLEC, said this is a major achievement for NCCU and DOMLEC. The Power Purchase Facility through NCCU’s CUCall telephone system provides additional convenience and international reach for the 10,000 DOMLEC customers on the PAUG system.
(N. George)
According to NCCU’s Systems Administrator, Clifford Gibbons, this new arrangement is expected to make a lot of NCCU members happy as it is a true convenience service for power. Members with PAUG meters can now purchase power directly from their NCCU accounts anytime, anywhere by calling CUCall.
To access this new facility, NCCU members with PAUG must have CUCall access, which is available at any of the Credit Union’s five branches. CUCall is a telephone service which allows members to dial into their NCCU accounts to perform transactions and get information.
Members who are not yet on PAUG, but who wish to use the facility, should contact DOMLEC for information.

Good turnout, highly interactive, strong interest in NCCU are some of the words which can be used to describe a meeting of NCCU officials and Dominicans residing in St. Maarten and St. Martin which took place on June 29 at the Wifol Building in Pond Field, Philipsburg, St. Maarten.
The meeting was held to further the Society's goal of promoting the NCCU and expanding membership among Dominicans residing overseas. It was the first such outreach since the Society was established on November 1, 2010.
A team of volunteers and staff led by President, Dexter Ducreay, were in attendance for the meeting. Mr. Ducreay and CEO, Aylmer A. Irish addressed the gathering.
Well-over 100 Dominicans attended the meeting, listened attentively and participated actively. Evident throughout the meeting, was an urge to immediately conduct business with the NCCU. Credit Union officials found this to be very encouraging.
Arrangements for the meeting were handled by the Dominica Association ably led by President, Claudette Lendor.
