Speaking at the ceremony,  Nathaniel George, Commercial Manager of DOMLEC, said this is a major achievement for NCCU and DOMLEC. The  Power Purchase Facility through NCCU’s CUCall telephone system provides additional convenience and  international reach for the 10,000 DOMLEC customers on the  PAUG system.   n george.jpg

According to NCCU’s Systems Administrator, Clifford Gibbons, this new arrangement is expected to make a lot of NCCU members happy as it is a true convenience service for power. Members with  PAUG meters can now purchase power directly from their NCCU accounts  anytime, anywhere by calling CUCall.  c gibbons & cover.jpg

To access this new facility, NCCU members with PAUG must have CUCall access, which is available at any of the Credit Union’s five branches.  CUCall is a telephone service which allows members to dial into their NCCU accounts to perform transactions and get information.

Members who are not yet on PAUG, but who wish to use the facility, should contact DOMLEC for information.

Centenarian Sidora "Sido" Alexander of Dubique turned 104th  on Friday, July 29.

A few NCCU staff members journeyed to Dubique on Friday afternoon to shower Sido with  gifts and spend some time with her. They  joined caregivers, relatives and  friends in  a small celebration for yet another year of grace and longevity for the centenarian.  Sido was alert and appeared  to enjoy the company and attention.

Sido was "adopted" by the Roseau Co-operative Credit Union Ltd  (RCCU) in 2008. NCCU has honored the arrangement which was in place for her  support .
