VACANCY NOTICE

MARKETING OFFICER – Head Office

The National Co-operative CreditUnion (NCCU) Ltd invites applications, from suitably qualified applicants to fill the vacant position of Marketing Officer – Head Office. 

The Marketing Officer will be responsible for:

(i)        planning and organizing marketing programmes in order to promote the image of the NCCU Ltd

(ii)       increasing the demand for the services of the NCCU Ltd

(iii)      coordinating with the Head Office and Branches of the NCCU Ltd to enhance the quality of member services.

(A)       QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

(a)      A Bachelor of Science (B Sc) Degree or Higher Diploma in Marketing, Journalism, Communication or a related field

 (b)      At least three (3) years  experience in marketing, advertising or promotional activities

 (c)       Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a 

           financial institution 

 (d)       Knowledge of Credit Union Cooperatives would be an asset

(B)       SKILLS AND OTHER ATTRIBUTES:

a)    Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

b)    Competent in using a variety of computer programs, including word processing and spreadsheet applications

c)    Demonstrated ability to work well with others

d)    Proven ability to plan and execute programmes

e)    Ability to produce neat and accurate work

f)     A pleasant voice & telephone manner and a helpful attitude

g)    Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

h)    Honesty and reliability

i)     Excellent interpersonal skills

j)     Good mathematical skills.

k)    Good analytical skills and the ability to use initiative
