NCCU welcomes young persons to its family of depositors through its Deposit Account. This account helps families maintain a tradition of membership in NCCU. A Deposit Account can be opened by parents and guardians for infants and children under 15 years. It can be used to teach young persons the importance of saving.
To Open
- One (1) valid ID
- Source of Funds: Job Letter, Salary Slip, Contract, rental contracts, business records, bank statement or other evidence of financial support
- Proof of Address
- Original or certified copy of the minor’s Birth Certificate
- Adoption Certificate (if applicable)
- In the case of informal Adoption, the Trustee is not the parent or legal guardian – A letter certified or witnessed by a Justice of Peace, Commissioner of Oaths or Notary Public from the parent or legal guardian giving consent to open the account
To Save
- Give a payroll deduction or standing order to save regularly for your son or daughter
- Make deposits over the counter
- Bring your child to a Branch to save
